When a merchant installs EUVATScope, we request read-only access to Products, Orders, and Inventory data through the Shopify Admin API. Specifically, when a scan runs we read:
We do not access or store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, or postal codes. We do not access Customer records at all.
We store only aggregated, non-personal data: a per-scan VAT readiness score, country-level order counts and totals (by country code, not by customer), and a list of compliance risk findings. This data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or marketing.
We keep a maximum of the 10 most recent scans per store, and automatically delete scan records after 180 days regardless of count.
Because we don't store personal data, there is no customer data to request or erase. If you uninstall EUVATScope, all stored scan data for your store is deleted automatically.
